Back in November i met someone in Paris and had a long conversation re new fashion ideas. That person told me: " Start something like an encyclopedia of fashion, online fashion database". I did not take this idea seriously, but now there is something similar to that. http://www.voguepedia.com/. The idea that person gave me is still relevant, since Vogue covers mostly its own world, big brands, celebrities, models and photographers.
Are you tired of using Wikipedia? Are you interested in the world of Vogue and fashion? May be http://www.voguepedia.com/ should become your new home page?

Chanel Couture
I am sorry that i did not finish writing about Haute Couture collections in Paris that took place in January. I won't focus on them much anymore, but i did want to share my thoughts re Chanel, the most anticipated collection for me in this one. Although Mr Lagerfeld did not go crazy, his collection for Chanel was beyond gorgeous. And even though one might say that it is not Couture enough, i disagree, Couture does not have to be too crazy. The details are amazing, so much thought put into making each piece, so many hours of work.
here you are, guys, a few pieces that i absolutely loved

Paris Haute Couture 2011
Paris Haute Couture is back, Madames et Monsieurs!
One of the reasons why i love winter1 It really warms my heart when i watch these beautiful fantasy shows.
Here is Dior, and a fe wof my favourite looks from the collection. Voluminous shapes, beautiful colourful fabrics, retro feel and make up, and feathery hats. It is truly beautiful! By the way, let's see will red eyebrows make it on the fall/winter runways? It sure looks awesome in couture, but is it adjustable for ready to wear and every day lives? Take a look:
Armani Prive went futuristic all the way with disc like hats, metallic fabrics, new shapes and purple lipstick! A beautiful allien invasion i must say! Judge for yourself:

Dear TO modleing industry, can you get a little more exciting?
I have been thinking about it for a while, but today it was the last drop. TO modeling industry sucks, im sorry....
Canada is a great market to start modleing career in. It has a few good agency that really care for you, a few good photographers, stylists, make up and hair stylists, designers, that will do great job to start your portfolio, and when you start travelling and say that you are from Canada, lets get real, people love it!
Although there are a few magazines, and good clients...its boring... its slow...The jobs and castings that we do here are for Zellers, Sears, Wallmart... And magazines that shoot 'high fashion'... ah, come on, for Canada it is high fashion, but once you go to a big market (Milano, NY, Paris) they call it 'commercial'...
There are a lot of great girls here too and we want to work at home, as well.
so, Dear TO modleing industry, can you get a little more exciting? ;)
CHEERS!
