Milano Fashion Week Review P.2

Gucci didn’t set any big trends but clearly said that colour is the key. The collection turned out to be very chic and expensive looking, modern, cool shapes, and camel and black coming in from fall winter and bright colours to celebrate spring-summer season. We can see fringe and beading again, and a number of sillouhetes got menswear tailoring. Models: Hair back, fresh face, red lips, definitely very sophisticated and clean look. Loving golden belts.

Fendi: ‘not so safe’ this season playing with shapes and volumes. Orange in the clothes is the new black, and orange on the lips is the new nude, seen on the models, again! Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi yet again created a gorgeous collection. A bit casual, but so elegant that you can take on different levels and play with to create new looks for yourself.

D&G. This season it looks like their woman goes to work in a country and them comes back to a big city ready to rock it! We can see platforms instead of high heels; well that is definitely comfort plus luxury, and some beautiful details in flowers on those shoes. Flowers are also present through the entire collection, which makes you feel like you are in the garden and beautiful flowers are moving around you while you are just standing there so full of emotions but unable to move. Even the runway was decorated with a lot of flowers to get the garden vibe going.

Another one of Dolce and Gabanna was shown in the last days of Milano Fashion Week. Here the greatest Italian duo showed off a lot of lace, sheer white garments, florals and leopard prints. The collection is very feminine, girly and laid back.

Although I am usually not a fan of Moschino, this time I think it requires some attention. The collection is very interesting inspired by the West and the country, lots of white, black and red with polka dots and stripes. Really fun but surprisingly wearable. Not sure if I like it or if it will be liked by many people as it comes across a bit too costumy, but it is interesting enough.

Etro got a beautiful collection, resort like with nice calm colours and tribal prints. I am loving their t-shirts with bare shoulders and dresses that connect neck with the top part through the diagonal line. The collection is really cohesive, glamorous and easy to wear.

Gianfranco Ferre’s woman this season is very chic, alluring and ready to rock any city at night. There is a lot of options from evening gowns, fitted pants, light jackets and flirty miniskirts.
